As per Guidance of General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church and SSD Ministerial Association, Bangladesh Union Mission humbled itself at the throne of His divine grace and observed ‘Ten Days of Prayer’ with the theme of ‘Back to the Alter: Making A Place For God’ in 8 boarding schools, 1 nursing institution, 14 English Medium schools, 127 organized churches and 286 company churches from January 11-21, 2023. We altogether responded to the God’s calling, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). 34,684 church members were richly blessed by the Lord and we individually and collectively recalled the outflowing blessings and grace of the Lord How He is still sustaining us even in the midst of difficulties and enormous challenges. When we prayed together, our hearts were surrendered, souls were convicted, and requests for prayer had been answered. As we prayed through the three angels’ messages, we shined with new relevance and lead ourselves into a deeper experience with Jesus. Apart from the church schedule, Bangladesh Union Mission began the year of 2023 with more additional ten days of prayer from January 11-21, 2023 remember God’s calling that bids us, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3).
