
Three supporting Department of Bangladesh Adventist Union Mission (BAUM) recently held its 2nd series of a thought-provoking and enlightening seminar for frontline field workers who are known as warriors of faith. The two-day seminar took place on March 21 -22 at the headquarter of East Bangladesh Mission and aimed to equip delegates with spiritual virtues to witness the Lord in this challenging region. The 42 participants from the four district areas of Bandarban, Rangamati, Khagrachari and Chittagong were present in this seminar. In the morning devotion, Pr. Daniel Falia, BAUM Field Secretary and Ministerial Secretary, focused on the story of Daniel who was the faithful witness in the heathen area. He urged all to pray with fasting to make strength our personal communion with God. The key text was on Joel 2:12, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning”. He encouraged them to lead a healthy lifestyle to be stronger physically and spiritually. He narrated in details about the accurate reporting format NDL-EDL and Ministerial Association. In the Evening Devotion, Pr. Milton Das, President of East Bangladesh Mission focused on the Esther 4:14, “For if you remain silent at the time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this? He urged all to work together for ensuring the assurance of salvation of Jesus Christ to the unreached people. He encouraged all not to be “rich-Christian”, but to be a living witness for the Lord in the midst of difficulties. Pr. Bernard Ashim Baidya, AM-AMR Director focused on the responsibilities, key challenges and Missiological approach of Global Mission Pioneer. He linked the story of Majority Group of People (MPP) from the lineage of Abraham. He called to be global mission pioneer. BAUM Education and Communication Director, Dr. Rontgen Poresh Bala focused on the curriculum, teaching strategies, classroom management and integration faith and learning.
