A two-day Mission-Wide Educational Orientation Seminar was successfully held on April 03–04, 2026, at the Seventh-day Adventist Maranatha Seminary (SAMS), in West Bangladesh Mission (WBM) bringing together a large number of education leaders and church workers from across the field.
The seminar was led by John Roy, Education Director of the Bangladesh Adventist Union Mission (BAUM), who provided guidance and direction for strengthening the mission of Adventist education. The event aimed to enhance the quality of teaching, spiritual development, and administrative effectiveness within the education system.
Participants included administrators, district pastors, and teachers, all of whom actively engaged in the sessions. The program featured presentations, discussions, and collaborative learning experiences focused on improving educational strategies and aligning them with the mission of the Church.
The seminar emphasized the importance of holistic education, nurturing both academic excellence and spiritual growth among students. Attendees were encouraged to dedicate their work to God, inspired by the theme verse: “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31).
The event concluded with a renewed commitment from all participants to work together in strengthening Adventist education and preparing young people for a life of service and faith.
